Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church serves Beech Grove, Indianapolis and Greenwood residents. It is a mid-size, family-oriented parish, rich in tradition and faith formation. We have a unique blend of young and old parishioners, new and multi-generational families, and musical traditions second to none. We are blessed with a vibrant school which serves Pre-K through eighth grade students.
Our Pastor, Rev. Stanley Pondo, was insalled as Pastor in July 2008. Prior to being assigned at Holy Name of Jesus, he spent five years in Rome, Italy where he completed his licentiate in Canon Law. He is currently completing his dissertation toward his doctorate in Canon Law. In 2000, Fr. Stan served as an Associate Pastor at St. Malachy in Brownsburg and then as the Associate Pastor at Holy Family, St. Andrew, and St. Mary in Richmond, Indiana. He also serves on the Tribunal staff as an Archdiocesan Judge. Fr. Stan was born January 23, 1960, and was ordained on June 6, 1998. Please keep Fr. Stan in your prayers as he leads our parish and helps us grow in our faith and service to Jesus, our community, and the world.
