Parish Council - The Parish Council members provide leadership and input regarding decision making for the parish. The Council is made up of 10 members (four elected members, and representatives from the following committees: Athletic Association, Communications, Faith Formation for Adults, Faith Formation for Children, School Commission, and Finance/Stewardship) and a non-voting recording secretary. Members are elected every other year and serve a three-year term with a two-term maximum. Parish Council Bylaws
Altar Society - The Altar Society provides financial support for the church and school where the need is greatest. Activities include the Christmas Bazaar in November, spring and summer rummage sales, and the annual Mother-Daughter Breakfast the first weekend in May. All are welcome to participate and volunteers are always needed during set-up and tear-down at events. Check the bulletin for dates and volunteer info. Contact Trudy Killion or Jo Pich.
Athletic Association- This association organizes and manages all CYO sports programs for the parish. The 13-member board has open meetings once a month at 7:30 PM on the 2nd Wednesday in the parish office. The association is funded by sports fees, participation in 50/50 ($1 donation in the 50/50 envelope included with your monthly mailings), and other fundraisers. Many coaches and volunteers are needed throughout the year for different sports. Contact President Jeff Woehler.
Bingo- Bingo is held on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday from 6:15 to 10:00 PM at the Knights of Columbus, 511 E. Thompson Rd., Indianapolis. Funds generated from bingo benefit both the parish and school. For more information, contact Tom Rizzi or Mark Squillace.
Scouts - Scouting builds character in our youth and is an important part of our community. Boy Scouts meet every Mon. at 6:30 PM in Hartman Hall. Pack meetings are typically once a month on the 3rd Thurs. Contact Philip Sturm (Boy Scouts), Nick Hull (Institutional Rep.), or contact the school office at 784-9078.
Men’s Club- The Men’s Club offers opportunities to unite in fellowship for the purpose of developing the religious and social character of members. Meetings are from Sept. to June on the 1st Thurs. of the month in Hartman Hall at 8:00 PM. Dues are $5 per year. Events held throughout the year include a Bowling League, Golf Tournament, and the Father/Son Breakfast, where the “Man of the Year” is awarded. Contact President Mike Lamping.
Over 50- Parishioners over 50 are invited to Mass and lunch the first Wednesday of every month. This group fosters spiritual life, fellowship, and a sense of belonging within the church community. One volunteer is needed each month for an hour to make arrangements. Contact the Parish Office.
