Liturgy Committee - The Liturgy Committee serves the parish by coordinating different ministries that enhance the Mass and involve lay ministers such as Eucharistic Ministers for Mass and the homebound, Ushers/Hospitality, Lectors, Gift Bearers, and Servers. To become involved in any of these ministries contact Planning Chair Diane Alig.

Eucharistic Ministers - Eucharistic Ministers administer the Blessed Sacrament of Holy Communion. Let Rosie know of your interest to begin the process of being commissioned through the Archdiocese of Indianapolis by the Archbishop. We are in need of volunteers willing to minister during Mass and also to parishioners that are homebound or in a nursing home. Contact the Parish Office.  Teens may contact Susan Stanforth.

Gift Bearers - Bringing up the gifts is a great way for families of all ages to be a special part of the Mass. Holy Name invites all parishioners who are interested in bringing up the gifts to let one of the ushers know of your interest before Mass begins. The ushers will let you know if the opportunity is available. Three or more people are needed per Mass.

Lectors - This is a wonderful ministry for public speakers interested in promoting the Word of God. Lectures typically read once a month. If you are comfortable reading in front of a large group with a strong, clear voice, contact Bernadine Tooley.

Sacristans - It is a special privilege to support our Pastor in this ministry. Sacristans provide assistance to the Pastor in preparation for Mass, funerals, weddings and special events. This ministry is in need of 5 or 6 volunteers. Contact the Parish Office.

Servers - Parish servers begin training in the 5th grade. Students in 6-8 grades are put on a master schedule to serve with another server, typically once a month at weekend Liturgies throughout the year. Contact Mr. Jerry Craney 788-3617 or Fr. Stan 784-5454.

Spiritual Life - The Spiritual Life “Study Group” is a small group of parishioners who meet to discuss and reflect on the works of spiritual writers. All parishioners are welcome on the 3rd Monday of the month in the parish office, 7:00 PM-8:30 PM Contact Bill Strange 787-4452.

Ushers - This ministry works in groups of four, assisting at every Mass by seating people, taking up collections, and distributing bulletins. Ushering is a great way to meet other parishioners and to be a part of the Eucharistic celebration. Contact Rosie Sylvester 784-5454.

Youth Mass - Holy Name has a Youth Mass on the 1st and 3rd Sunday each month at 11:30 AM.  This ministry invites all youth in grades 6th-12th to sign-up for a liturgical ministry!  For more information please contact Susan Stanforth at 788-3617; ext. 7.
