Like all sacraments, Holy Anointing was instituted by Jesus Christ. The special grace of this sacrament unites a sick person to the passion of Christ providing strength, peace, and the courage to endure in a Christian manner the sufferings of illness. This sacrament is not exclusively for those at the point of death but also encompasses anyone of the faithful facing surgery, sickness, old age, or mental illness. To schedule an anointing, please call the parish office.
Please keep the parish office informed so that we may minister to those who are ill at home, in the hospital, or a health care facility. The hospital does not notify the parish office of admissions. If you are unable to come to Mass and would like Communion in your home, please call the parish office.
