Holy Name also offers sports for our younger grades. All students or Parish families are eligible to participate in our PK-2/3rd grade sports. These are for students who are not yet old enough to participate in the CYO sponsored athletics. We teach fundamentals, team work and have a lot of fun playing.

A Little Giant Registration Form will be required when these sports are active. You can anticipate Wrestling to begin near December and Basketball just after the new year. Our Little Giant program is dependent upon participation numbers and the availability of volunteer Coaches.

The St. Mark Athletic Committee is accepting flag football registrations for the 2019 season. Boys and girls entering grades K-2 are eligible to play for their Parish teams and the registration fee is $60.

Register online at https://tshq.bluesombrero.com/default.aspx?tabid=2240807 . The deadline to register is August 16th and practices will begin the week of August 19th. The season runs August 31st to October 5th. Practices are normally once a week and are scheduled by the Coaches. Games are held on Saturday mornings at St. Mark's.

LITTLE GIANTS BASKETBALL

Little Giants Basketball is an “in-house” league for Holy Name Students & Parishioners only. It is COED and open to K-2nd grade. There will be one practice per week and one weekend game. This is a great opportunity for your child to learn the basic fundamentals of basketball and be able to play with their classmates and friends. We use a 27.0 size ball and we play on 8 foot goals.

LITTLE GIANTS SOCCER

Little Giants Soccer is a COED “in-house” soccer league for Holy Name students & parishioners only. This league is open to Pre-K – 3rd grade. We split the league into two divisions, an older division and a younger division. We play on smaller fields and have smaller goals. This is a great beginner league for your child to be active and learn the game of soccer.
