Faith formation is a lifelong process, and through religious education classes, we provide formal catechesis for children 4 years old through 7th grade. Guidelines for this formation are developed under the guidance of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. Through this formation the parish can work in partnership with parents to assist with the development of your children’s Catholic faith, prayer life, sacraments and tradition.
We offer religious education classes for children, ages 4 through 7th grade, of our parish. Classes begin in September and end in April. The archdiocese requires our parish to provide at least 31 hours of formal religious education to our students. Classes are held on Sunday morning from 9:15am to 10:15am and take place in the school classrooms. Registration for your child is required. Please complete the registration form on-line and submit it to the Parish Office.
Many volunteers are needed for this ministry. If you are interested in being a catechist, please complete the Volunteer form and submit it to the Parish Office or contact, Joe Chrisman at 317-784-5454.
To volunteer, you are required to go online and review the Safe and Sacred program which includes a background check.
